The word Renovo derives from the Roman spoken language Latin. Renovare, Renovavi, Renovatus are also common translations of the word “Renovo” in todays language. Why Renovo? We named our Company Renovo Solutions, as the English translation of the word “Renovo” equates to:
Renew | Restore | Revive | Reduce | Recycle, which you will see we have used in our 6 core brand offerings. We like to tell our customers about this, as every successful brand should have a story with direction and meaning.

Sustainability
At Renovo Solutions, we live by our core values in everything we do. In a world where the UK’s commercial and industrial sectors were responsible for 41.1 million tonnes of waste in 2016 (33.1 million tonnes of which was generated in England alone), we are trying to play our part in turning the tides.

We started our business with an aim to ReNew tools where possible and to make sure we are Increasing our customers Bottom Line, this means helping our customers financially whilst simultaneously reducing the Carbide Footprint.
​
In instances where tools are unable to be ReNew'd, recycling scrap carbide takes 70% less energy than making carbide from raw materials! This is an enormous saving and it also means 40% less carbon dioxide is emitted when a brand new carbide tool is manufactured from recycled carbide.

We don't just stop at our tooling, we make sure that all of our packaging is sustainable too. The tubes we package our tooling with are made up from 100% recycled plastic (post-consumer recyclate) as well as Bio-HDPE based on sugarcane - the use of sugar cane as a renewable raw material. Sugarcane absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere during its growth, thus reducing the CO2 content in the air.
We even wear our values on our sleeve... literally! Our uniforms are made using 100% Recycled polyester, to try and combat the over 360,000 tonnes worth of textile waste in the UK every year.
We are constantly looking for ways to save our customers money while also trying to help the environment in any way we can and we encourage other large manufacturers to do their bit where possible.
